the firearm was properly introduced, and she at the report or sound of a gun, the dog may immediately cease hunting and return to his trainer, getting at heel and following with his tail tucked between his legs and will not resume hunting and also at the time of the shot is fired, drops her tail and scats for home, sadly we were 2 hours from home and i lost her for 4 days, until a nice neighbor reported her sightinig to animal control and then they called me, and i went and picked her up. I'm an amateur when it comes to training hunting dogs for she is my first, but i refuse to set her up for failure and do not want to believe just that does not have potential, i have tried the blank 22 gun in my back yard and i'm at a loss.... what do i do? i sne t her for 3 months of traing and i seen it with my own eyes, she didn't even flinch at the sound of a gun, but when hunting season came up it was a whole different ball game , what happened?
